The Hanle to Umling La Pass route is a challenging and remote high-altitude road in the Ladakh region of India. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world, with an elevation of around 19,024 feet. The route starts from the town of Hanle in the eastern part of Ladakh and goes all the way to the Umling La Pass, Crossing Norbo La Pass `17,1328ft. Which lies on the Line of Actual Control between India and China. The route covers a distance of approximately 50-60 kilometers and can take anywhere from 6hr to 7hr to complete this Mighty Trip to Umlingla Pass, depending on weather and road conditions.

Day Wise Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Leh airport, you have to reach to the meeting point (Hotel) and you will be met by a representative. Spend the day acclimatising to the high altitude and relaxing. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll in the local market.

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Leh.
Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, Magnetic Hill, Sangam and the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.
Later in the evening - Visit the famous Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace
In the evening, return to your hotel.
After breakfast, start your journey to the beautiful Nubra Valley.

After an early breakfast we drive to Hanle. Hanle in changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautifull calm and soul loosing places in India. Hanle is known for good visibility throughout the year, making it a great choice for scientists and photographers interested in a perfect view of the night sky.
Hanle has a lovely hanle monastery offering some great aerial views of whole village that is a home of about 1000 people. Hanle monastery is a 17th century monastery of the Drukpa lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan buddhism. Monastey is home to about 60 monks. The main monastery, one of the largest and best known of ladakh’s monasteries, was built under the protege of the kind singee namgyal. The views from the top of monastery are just breath taking. Hanle is also house an Indian astronomical observatory which is the world highest observatory in the world at a staggering height of 4500 mtrs. Hanle is located in the Hanle River valley on an old branch of the ancient Ladakh–Tibet trade route.

Today after the breakfast we will Explore the nearby Hanle Observatory, which is one of the world's highest astronomical observatories. You can also visit the Hanle Monastery, which is a beautiful example of Ladakhi architecture. After we will move towards Leh while crossing Nyuma Village & Chumathang
Nyoma It is situated at an altitude of around 4,500 meters above sea level and is surrounded by stunning snow-capped mountains and beautiful valleys. The village is located on the banks of the Indus River, which flows through the region, and is known for its breathtaking natural beauty.
The Chumathang Hot Spring is a natural source of geothermal water, which is believed to be rich in minerals and other beneficial elements. The water temperature at the hot spring ranges from 50-70 degrees Celsius and is known for its healing properties, especially for joint pain and skin-related ailments.
In the morning, you'll be escorted to Kushok Bakula airport to catch flight for onward destination with sweet memories of Ladakh to cherish throughout life
